When I was a child, I would see colorful, thread-like lights in dark rooms, particularly during hypnagogia. I found that focusing on them and allowing myself to dissolve into them allowed me to experience altered states of consciousness, including out-of-body experiences.
This was natural, innate, and not taught to me by anyone. It was a process I discovered organically, completely on my own, as a child. I would not learn words to explain my experiences until my early teenage years, when I discovered astral projection, bilocation, lucid dreaming, and other phenomena.
I hope that by doing my best to recreate these visuals others will be able to find similar experiences simple and accessible to them.
Also included in this project is a sort of 'sound toy' with white noise and a sort of binaural beats generator tied to the generation of the phosphene-mandala, and a sigil generator. I am still tinkering with it as I find much to be desired, but there are many levers for you to pull and see what happens in this engine.
This is as much a toy as it is a tool. May you enjoy it.

Note 1: — Lowering opacity of the mandala with the 'smear' effect enabled can cause visually appealing 'melting' effects.
Note 2: — You can make triangular and cubic 'mandalas' by setting the spoke count to 3-4.
Note 3: — Saving a screenshot will save a still image of anything visible on the canvas.
Note 4: — 'Sound toy' options are highly experimental, intended to create immersive audio-visual experiences.
Note 5: — VB Audio Cable can be used to synchronize mandala generation with external audio sources.
